Greenhouse Private beta · 2026

Character isn't taught in school. Greenhouse builds it around your kid, one trait at a time.

You pick the handful of traits that matter to your family. Greenhouse turns them into one small move a day, shaped to your child's age, temperament, and what you've already tried. It remembers, so it gets sharper every week.

How it works

You know the kind of person you're raising. Greenhouse gives you the words.

Not another content library to scroll. A system that runs a little every day and shows you whether it's moving.

Step 1

Pick the traits

Choose 3 to 5 to focus on per kid, from 40 in all: grit, kindness, self-control, honesty, and the rest.

Step 2

Get one move a day, made for your kid

A specific thing to try, calibrated to your child's age and temperament. The words for a 3-year-old aren't the words for a 9-year-old.

Step 3

Check in weekly

A short review turns scattered moments into a trajectory you can actually see build over months.

Why this one is different

It tells you where the advice comes from. Every time.

Most apps blend research, consensus, and hunches into one confident voice. Greenhouse labels every suggestion, because you deserve to know what you're getting before you use it on your kid.

  • ResearchWhen a suggestion is grounded in a study, we name the researcher.
  • ConsensusWhen it reflects pediatric or public-health guidance, we say so.
  • PracticeWhen it's practice wisdom that works but has no study behind it, we tell you that too.
  • See a proAnd when something is beyond an app, we tell you to talk to a professional instead of pretending to be one.

Who's building it

"Parenting content is everywhere. Parenting systems are nowhere. Knowing about the research changed nothing in my house. A Tuesday morning with the exact words to say changed a lot."

Built by Matteo, a finance guy with two boys under six and a third on the way, making the parenting system he couldn't buy. He's testing it with a handful of families this year, in public, and posting what he learns.

Questions

The short version.

How is this different from other parenting apps?

Most parenting apps wait for you to bring a problem, then answer it. Greenhouse works the other way. You pick the traits you want to build, and it sends you one specific thing to try each day, matched to your child's age. A weekly check-in turns those small moments into a trajectory you can see.

What ages is it for?

Kids 2 to 12. Every script is calibrated to your child's age band and temperament, so a 3-year-old and a 9-year-old never get the same words.

Is the advice actually research-based?

When a suggestion comes from research, Greenhouse names the researcher. When it comes from pediatric consensus, it says so. When it's practice wisdom with no study behind it, it tells you. And when something is beyond an app, it tells you to talk to a professional instead of pretending to be one.
